WHY DO MUSCLES GROW?

1. We work out and contract the muscle. This causes tiny tears in the muscle fibers - essentially we damage it.


2. The muscle goes “Fuck me I REALLY didn't like that experience....I need to adapt and change so that the next time that happens it doesn't hurt so much”


3. You drink water, eat nutrient dense foods, and go to sleep and the muscle rebuilds itself stronger than it was before. It ADAPTS to the stress that you placed on it.
